On the way to dinner last night, Alyssa asked us why God gave us a family. My answer was because God loves us very much...He wants us to have each other to love and to depend on. I knew the question was coming..."Mommy, what does depend mean?" We explained that when she needs something or someone to help, she can count on us to help...she can depend on us to help. Her reply was one of the most precious I've ever heard...reassures me that we are doing something right as parents. She said, "And when we all need help as a family, we can depend on God. Right, Mama?"
"That's right, baby...exactly right."
