Over the years, we've had several babysitters for the girls. Mostly family and friends...you know, the free kind. We have lots of favorite "free" babysitters...my mom, Aunt Lisa, Aunt Sarah and Jo Jo; however, our most favorite "paid" babysitter has, by a LOOOOONNNGG shot, been Lindsey Bell, affectionately known at our home as Miss Zinzee. She babysat Alyssa every Tuesday night and some bonus Friday or Saturday nights for about 2 years. Having Lindsey babysit for us was like paying for peace of mind. At the time, she was still in med school, so we knew that no matter what situation or emergency came up, she could handle it. We held on to her until med school would no longer allow her time for it...and then we held on a little longer! She has yet to be replaced by anyone other than friends or family. How could we???
Well, this past weekend (on my 30th birthday!), Miss Zinzee got married! Even though it had been quite a while since she kept the girls...in truth, she'd only kept Blakely a couple of times...she honored us by asking both Alyssa and Blakely to be her flower girls. Although I was hesitant about Blakely's possible behavior, she assured me that no matter what they did, it would be cute. I was comforted by the fact that my near and dear college roommate and friend was also worried about her son, Zane (Lindsey's nephew), and his behavior!
At the rehearsal the kids did great! Well, Alyssa did perfect. She walked calmly down the aisle ringing her antique bell, while Blakely sprinted and rang her bell like a crazy person, and Zane sauntered down after them with his bell. On the big day, they did the exact same thing. And, like Miss Zinzee promised, no matter what they did, it was really cute. The ceremony was beautiful despite the typical Arkansan late afternoon downpour. Thank you, Lindsey and Erik, for allowing our family to be a part of such a special day. We love you, Miss Zinzee!
Since Chris and I spent the rehearsal and wedding day chasing Blakely, I had to borrow a few pictures from a friend...thanks Sarah!

Your girls were absolutely precious. So glad that neither of us had to deal with tantrums or breakdowns during the wedding! You were beautiful, too, my friend.
