Pilgrims and Indians

All during the month of November Alyssa and her classmates have been learning about the Pilgrims, Indians, and Thanksgiving. To give the kids a fun new experience, and to also, hopefully, teach them something, they take the kids on a field trip to Pinnacle Mountain to learn more about Indians and how they lived. Imagine a room with about 60 kids, teachers, and parents...and one, overly enthusiastic park "Indian" expert. What you get is a LOT of restless little ones ready to get up and explore the nature museum!!! They really did get to see and learn some neat things during the field trip, but I'm sure they all really had fun getting to run around the museum with their friends, looking at baby alligators and turtles!
