First time blogger

Okay, so this is my first time to attempt a blog, but a lot has been going on, so it should be fairly easy! Yesterday, our newborn daughter, Blakely, turned one week old! She's doing great after spending her first 5 days on this earth in the hospital under a bilirubin light. Talk about ready to come home! We went to the doctor a couple of days ago and everything looks great! We don't have to go back for another week...we were expecting to be there 2 or 3 times this week, so what a blessing...and a relief!

Alyssa is so excited about being a big sister...constantly wanting to touch, hug and kiss Baby Blakely! It's also been interesting b/c she is adjusting to sharing mommy and daddy with someone who, right now, demands most of our time. She's making it though...just having to remind her of the rules and consequences of breaking them...aka...not minding, etc.

So, anyway, the White family has grown and we're excited about what God has in store for us for the rest of 2008...it should be and will be great!
