Happy Holidays!

Christmas has started at our house!! My goal this year is to not get caught up in the mile long to do list. I just want to really enjoy the time with my family and for us to focus on Jesus this season. We are doing a daily reading advent calendar with the girls. Alyssa is reading a few scriptures each night from the Christmas story, and I'm reading a story each night from the Jesus Storybook Bible for Blakely. There are 24 stories that specifically point to Jesus, so it works out perfectly! We've had a lot of fun with it! We've also had fun doing the traditional decorating and looking at lights!!! Excited for more memories to come!!




















I also have fun decorating the girls' classroom doors at school every year. Alyssa's teacher has a cowboy/western theme so we coordinated the Christmas decorations! I love it!!!

Thanksgiving 2012

I was so sick over Thanksgiving, so there aren't many pictures, but we had a great time in Memphis with Chris' family. I have the best in laws in the world and love spending time with them!!!

Pumpkin Patch 2012

We haven't made it to the pumpkin patch in a couple of years, so when we had some free time on this beautiful, fall Saturday, I was so excited! The girls had so much fun, and so did me and Chris!!! We went to Bobrook Farms since it's so close by. It was great! We did the hayride, hay maze, animals, pumpkin patch, corn pit, and sunflower field!!! The girls would've loved to stay all afternoon, but we had a Kona Ironman World Championship watch party to get to...couldn't disappoint Chris by missing it! ;)  Love our family adventures!
